If you mean a national company (not sure if you do) then EMC are certainly that, as they do the catering at Hull, Huddersfield and Donny amongst others, and charge exactly the same prices.

Well maybe they have a local policy. But if the LSV charge a rate it has to be passed on to the "punter" ( i hate that term). The quality of the products is more of a problem for me.

Surely if the Quality of food is an issue, then it must follow suit that the price must also be a massive factor as we are paying over the odds for below standard grub.

Indeed. As it is, the price of a pint isn't too much more than most pubs, while the pies are pretty standard for sports grounds. No particular grumbles from me, there are plenty of alternatives (I tend to buy summat to eat from the shop on Etherstone Street rather than get summat in the ground).

Isn't sometimes the easy option the best one though? if I find something expensive I dont buy it, hence my stoping smoking (and of course long term health benefits - my Mother died from lung cancer) and virtually cutting my alcohol intake to zero, I dont mind anyone drinking or smoking just if you do dont complain about the prices find somewhere cheaper or dont do it.

Yes sometimes that is very true but not all of the time.

Sometimes there are things (and this is dependant on the individual obviously) that just get your back up and that need addressing.

I find paying £2.70 for a pie extortionate and the good people of Leigh deserve better than being ripped off because thats whats happening right now and will continue until someone does something about it, and thats all I am trying to in my own little way .
