I was so annoyed with the tripe they were posting that I registered with Last Tackle just to post a response. But I think I am wasting my time - they just see RL as another hobby to fill a few hours of a weekend. It doesn't MATTER to them, not like it does to us. Expansion clubs will never know how it hurts to grow up with a team which constantly lets you down, but which you cannot help but love. Usually unrequited though....

Just thought now was as good a time as any to join this lunatic asylum, been watching goings on from afar for a coouple of years now, been to the game today (called a sicky) and thought we played well and it just wasnt our day, different ref and all that....

I personally think threads starting with titles such as this one are a waste of time and disrespectful to the people that put alot of their time and effort in! Cant see myself how having an extra few hundred fans supporting our team can possibly be a bad thing- its no fault of people at the club, volunteers, if some kids have a few shandys on the coaches on the way down, anyway- rant over- time for bed!!

sensative bunch of supporters up in the north east arent they and no social life, i dont condone bad language but in such an important game it peoples emotions. who is to say if these legh fans actually travelled up on the free coach as i thought alcohol wasnt allowed on coaches these days. listening on gmr the leigh fans never stopped chanting (or callng he ref) so the free coaches are a good idea.

I willl say this :-

1. The free/reduced cost, coaches idea is being looked at, Im going to be seeing the club on this matter in the near future.

2. Our fans were a credit to the club and speaking to some of the players last night they really appreicated the support they gave, one said "They were louder than at home, and they struggled to hear the in the changing rooms at h/t, because of all the cheering". So this goes to show its inspires the team.
3. Thanks to all the sponsers who made this possible without them this wouldnt have happened. They were, TWS removals, Sean Mcaul REdwaters, C and S tyres, Ask Platt, Civil Solutions,Steve Openshaw,LISA and, Catalyst Roofs.
4. Thanks to all of the people who donated their fivers, as LISA ended up paying out to sponser the majority of the fifth coach, and because of the fans generousity they have recuperrated this and made a bit more besides.
At the end of the day , this is money LISA will be giving the club to use on players for next season.
