Its a funny one this. Leigh arn't in the Championship, so therefore isn't Flowers contract null and void ? Who says that Leigh are even paying him, and he is just training to keep fit?

I would be surprised if any of the original players signing for Leigh based on the Championship havn't either resigned a counter contract or agreed to a supplement.

I can't imagine for one minute 'the club' (Derek Beaumont) are allowing ANY player to train but not play. It's a load of b******s. Ben Flower and any other players are just injured or not being selected.

That's right. Ben Flower played versus Salford. He also featured against Saints and Cas in SL and Huddersfield in the cup. He did not play in the friendlies.

So we can all agree by playing v Salford he honoured and agreed to his SL contract.
