I was stating the obvious really that everything posted on here is opinion, which rather negatess the necessity of pointing it out. As to the subject, I think Hampshire (if he signs) should play fullback because I think that McNally isn't a Super League fullback. If McNally surprises me with his performances then I will admit I was wrong.

Just heard Hampshire is signing on a 3 year for Leigh, and will be shipped out on loan to Wakey for first season to aid with his development.

Well said Reffy  I agree 100% , and as you rightly say everyone is entitled to an opinion, and just because a poster puts his opinion on here he shouldn't be castigated if blokes disagree ,this Forum is here to provide discussions, let's DISCUSS things.  |

Can't see the point in that! He's just completed a year at Cas - which surely 'aided his development'? We need players for 2017, before we need them for 2018!! (and to ensure there is a 2018 in SL for us) A player of his calibre certainly won't help us at one of our main rivals. |

Alan I agree , I can't see us signing a player and then allowing him to play for one of our rivals. |

Me neither, seems madness.
Rather he went to Bradford/Fax/London/KR on DR so that we can call him back (if it is just a case of keeping him fit/keeping him playing).
What is true is that we need to invest in youth for the future, the coaching team have said as much. |

Apologies fellas, looks like I've got the wrong end of the stick. It turns out he's signing for Wakey on a 3 year deal, and will be sent out on a season long loan at Leigh to further his development.
Sorry for any confusion! But don't worry I will keep you all up to date with the latest news regarding this deal.
