| Right i have just watched Neils post match interview and my opinion is that he is as peed off as we are. The way i undersand what he is saying is Batley were able to do almost everything i/we said they would try to do (including peppering Rangi with high bombs), when we played as we talked about we went 10 points clear, To me when he said he wasn't surprised it was because it's how he would of attacked us (So to speak) and he had spoken about it to the team in training, What he could or should have added was "I was however surprised we didn't or wernt able to counter their attacking play after highlighting how they would and did play",but i suppose that could be classed as Blaming the players. I bet the video review was intense.

| I think Ste what he meant was, they didn't stick to the game plan.
Personally I would have the same team out again against Oldham. Nevermind swapping and changing,we need them all reading off the same page this season as all will be used.If that means players out of their comfort zones then so be it.

| Should have changed line up at half time.
Thats how special coaches make he difference
Ryan to full back and Chase to Half Back.
Said it before and I'll say it again, no no no to Chase at full back.
I would have had Jp at full back but hey Ho.
Beswick in the drinks queue said he'd tweaked something and had to pull out.
Good to Barlow at the bottom of the terraces chatting
I'd stick with Neil for at least 10 games and re-assess

| I think a few people have mis-interpreted the title of this and jumped on it thinking its a Witch Hunt or something !! It was reason to cause a debate, not to think that after 80 minutes, good old Snowy think he is already inept and we need a change !!
Jukes will be under severe pressure no doubt and someone made a valid point stating that he too would need a decent number 2 to assist and ease the pressure. Perfectly valid but it is some step up for him.
I personally think we will be okay. In my opinion a Monkey from Chester Zoo should be able to coach us to a top 4 finish, especially with the clientèle we have on the pitch.
In regards to creativity, I see it a few ways. Ridyard to Centre is a No No as he hasn't the pace, nor defence to be a usefull asset.
Ridyard - Possible LF or Hooker if not playing 6 ?
Brierley - In an attacking sense, he would be my full back all day of the week. Defensively / all round, I would put Liam Kay there
Chase - Wasted at FB and either a 6 or possibly a 9, for whom he would be devastating at the PTB.
My team would be :
1 - Kay
2 - Brierley (with the freedom to do what he wants when on attack)
3 - Worthington
4 - Tonga
5 - Armstrong
6 - Ridyard
7- Chase
8 - MoiMoi
9 - Higham
10 - Weston
11- Hansen
12 - Matua
13 - Paterson
14 - Higson (Utility Sub)
15 - Hopkins
16 - Beswick
17 - Spencer
Time for more Debate !!! LOL

| Is it just me that doesn't understand the necessity in having Ridyard/Brierley/Chase on the field at the same time?
Personally I think attempting to shoehorn them in, where others are better suited will only end badly.
All three are terrific players at this level, which (if managed correctly) should only be advantageous to Leigh. Competition for places is a good thing and can bring out the best in a player.

Sorry Snowy, not convinced with that one. Not in the backs at least.
We have 3 good wingers at the club, I would let them play on the wing rather than stick a halfback and an out of form centre there. Tonga and Pala are injured for a while yet and Harper is very raw so I think Worthington and Armstrong are pretty much our only options in the centres.
Kay could maybe do a job at full back but Pownall has played there much more often and we have presumably just signed Lee Smith for that position to cover for McNally. Also, Kay is the best winger at the club and the best in the league so why play him out of position?
6-17 I agree with although I would find a spot for Emmitt in my team as I think he is class. Probably instead of Higson, not a fan of having wingers on the bench.
I agree that Riddy and Rangi is probably our best halves combo. I watched the game back last night and for their 1st and 3rd tries Brierley shoots out of the line and they come in behind him as he is way out of position. Would have no issues with him being dropped to be honest. He had a very poor game on Sunday although his reaction when he scored in front of the fans was fantastic and showed how much he still wants to be here.
After questions about last weeks selection it will be interesting to see how Jukesy sets us up against Oldham!

Nozzy you can't leave Ryan out, he can score from anywhere on the pitch, kick goals, links the backs and forwards very well with his passes, and after watches his celebration on Sunday after he scored has got his hunger and passion back, for me the first name on my team sheet EVERY week. Charlie knows.

| Every coach of every team in every sport is under pressure but I don't think Jukes will be under undue pressure just yet. You can't take away from Batley & how well they played, yes we should have done better but that's down to the players not the coach. Half backs did go missing, without victimising or blaming anyone for anything I think in some of the Super 8s games, the friendly against Warrington & the Batley game when the going gets tough Ryan can sometimes go missing; we have 3 excellent half backs competing for 2 positions, don't play them out of position let them compete for the 2 available. For me at the moment it's Ridy & Rangi that get the spots.

| An honest question.
Do you think the players were/are distracted with the recent upheavals and are the players behind Jukes?
