It just says in the press release that Sky will cover both leagues, playoffs and some challenge cup games on 2015. I didn't see anything about 2014.

You are probably one of the sheeple who also buys his papers and believes all of the crap that is written in them. If you remember it was SKY who split the game in two and their money has been the main cause for greedy SL chairmen stopping P&R for many years. Why should I line their pockets. £200million is nothing to them and the amount of money that RL supporters subscribe to SKY will be a drop in the ocean. You line his pockets then. I'd rather watch SL for free.

And as for Binosh - I've attended more Leigh games than I care to remember and I will be attending more now that the stupid Wiggin agreement has been scrapped. If everyone had abstained from watching the first game after the agreement had been made, then it would have been stopped immediately instead of dragging on like a messy divorce, but there are too many plastic Wigginers in Leigh these days!!!!!!

For clarity if 100000 folk take sky primarily for RL then those subs alone more than pay for the £40m pa deal, hence there is a direct income value to Sky from RL

I'd expect funding to be split more along the lines of the 3 tiers of 8, rather than the 2 12's. That way the big clubs will get the bigger shares they will certainly demand, the lower clubs will continue to receive a hell of a lot less, and the position a club achieves at the end of the season can determine its funding for the following year.
