I will reserve judgement on this one, not so sure where the BOM is going here with this and while the likes of Maurice, Alan Platt, Andy & Allan Mazey are welcome new additions in most peoples eyes and are Leigh fans first and foremost doing what they are doing for the love of the club who is this John Roddy they have made chairman???

I think Andys passion and enthusiasm on here is all well and good and he does come acrosswell and very positive in every post and in interviews he does etc and I know he owns a successful business and hes a wealthy enough young chap in his own right but hes no Marwan Koucash so i suppose hes having to put up with likes of Barton to make up the numbers but I personally would rather of seen more new young blood with no previous connections coming in like Andy rather than old faces popping up for another go now the dust is starting to settle from there last time they cocked up.

as for Beaumont and rowley snr the less said about that pair the better, how you convince anyone its a new era with new ambition with those two hanging about is beyond me.

on a positive they got shut of that freer and have won a tin pot cup that we win every other year anyway so every cloud and all that!

this will not be welcome news , and leigh hve lost avery good loyal man in brian bowman,
brian knows rugby he should be given mbe for what he has done for leigh and for rugby
trevor barton is disliked by to many people,bad move by leigh one I think they will regret.

not changed my mind about andy i recently spoke with him at an U20s game at the East hes a good lad and hes always got time for anyone especially the youngsters and hes made a massive difference to this club, and is a real fans man just feel hes fighting a losing battle and its a far cry from his original campaign for a fan owned club!

John is a gentleman and i called him to tell him as soon as read about Brian on here and he like myself has a lot of respect for Brian and did not know or any problem between Trevor or him.

The move to apoint Trevor was a porfessional buisness desision made and a vote was held and passed with not a single objection in the Board room and deemed in the best intrests of the club.

We appreciete it may not suit everyone but Trevor is 100% commited not just to the club but the whole community and we must all get behind everyone and everything that can help take us forward.

Lets not overreact Brian is a Leigh Legend and very well liked and respected by the BOM im sure he will not give up on the club he loves and a BOD i know he likes and respects.

I think this is a backward step that will alienate a considerable number of fans who have enjoyed the euphoria, good vibes and early success of the new BOD. After announcing a clear out, new blood and a new start, some dead wood has been recalled.

Mr Chairman I see no comment from you yet this must be right up your street Trevor back on the board can't see you praising this board now look forward to your views

No disrespect to Marwan but a self sustainable club with a family and community ethos is more my cup of tea were the burden is shared by all and a SL ambition burns bright.
