Have to agree with Alan, if Salford are cash strapped then surely getting some kind of money in early surely helps that cause - they have to start somewhere even if it means that money goes to pays off debt / creditors.

I suppose if its a case of the players refusing to play until payed etc, etc then thats a different matter and they are stumped

On the Swinton forum someone has posted a link to an article from Friday stating Luke Patten has lodged another petition against salford. Someone also posted that the players have not been paid.
