the pheonix rising from the ashes, then it turns out be wally with a costume on. Disappointed with the club and it seems to undermine the effort eveyone as put in.

| On a more possitive note. I know of lot's of people who can now attend more home matches thanks to the switch in match days. Well done Leigh Centurions for coming in to line with the more forward thinking clubs in Rugby League.

| Last three games of the season are Fridays, Not a good day for me. Have to think hard whether I buy the usual two season tickets. Will be cheaper to pay for each game.

Might not necessarily leave you any better off, but I'd expect the Fev and Halifax games to be switched to the Thursday, or at least that's the scenario I'm hoping for if I decide to risk buying a season ticket on that basis.

| Well personally I would prefer Sunday evenings for our games.
I am retired so will still be able to make all the games.
On the negative side I think most diehards prefer Sundays but maybe the club is thinking about the Corporate side of things.
Re Thursday nights though I do not think the TV deal will compensate clubs for fans who might go but can watch at home on a computer or on TV.
Non Relegation league crowds do seem to be higher on Fridays.
Not an easy choice and you will never find a time to play when it will suit everyone.
One of my mates won't be happy as he works Fridays.

It doesn't affect me what day we play. I'm just telling you that this descision also is a possitive to some other people who prefer to do other things on Sundays. Lot's and I mean lot's of people I know prefer to attend night matches for whatever reason. Just because a few on here don't like it, doesn't mean that we will be playing infront of lowly 1200 crowds on Fridays next season. The proof of that is in the attendances for night games last season. The club aren't stupid they have done the reasearch. They know how many attended games as a "freebie" for the Tursday night games, they have spoken to other clubs who play on Friday nights and had their feedback. It has not been done to upset a couple of dozen fans who can't/won't change their game day support, it has been done for a sensible commercial reason. Why should we know the intimate thought processes of the board? If the board had to report back giving a detailed analysys of every decsion they make, they would get nothing done. Some on here want to know too much information. They are not happy until they know every action of people who run the club. Just let them get on with it. If you can't/won't watch the team then don't bother. Stop moaning about it.

I think the main issue here is that Keith Freer made it clear in no uncertain terms at the last Fans Forum that, TV games and Good Friday aside, our home games would be on a Sunday, and no doubt people have bought season tickets or signed up to the Touchdown Club while based on that premise. The decision had undoubtedly been made by that point to shift x number of games to Friday nights and that was the perfect format for supporters to raise any feedback about it or for the club to explain that decision.

Absolutely spot on Matt - Any chance you can join the board and apply some common sense?
