No Dave......that was the then "New" Arty........v Warrington Wolves in the Challenge Cup........ref was a certain " Mr Ganson".....the same guy who had just made the signal to go to the screen after what we thought was a perfectly valid Leigh try (pity there was no video ref ).......faced with actually having to make a decision himself he disallowed the try....later red card Arty for tampering with a touch judges flag............

I used to watch Leigh when they played in winted and SL in summer. My fav memory was Wire in the cup at Wire. We werr segregated and Parky big hit Wolfy and knocked his head off in front of the Leigh fans. The police came and warned him...classic.
