He was poor, very poor. He cant ever have had a michrophone in his hand before. His rugby knowledge wasn't great, he announced that Mathers had scored in the first half when it was actually Myler, which makes me doubt he was from Warrington.

He announced a minutes silence - for who ? Don't know, he was so distorted I doubt anyone knew.

I was asked to substitute for Don when Don was ill at hilton park for some of the 21's games in 2008 , total difference between DJ-ing and announcing and yes did make a couple of mistakes , but thoroughly enjoyed the experience .

Trick is when your a fan , enjoy the game but remember your cues when to announce and what to say and for gawds sake don't get the score wrong , yep I did that n all Lol .

Probably first match nerves , things can only get better

All I will say for one so critical. If you think you could do a better job, then get from behind your keyboard and get in touch with the club and offer your services. If he was as bad as you are saying then Im sure they will take you on with open arms!!!!!!!!

Thanks for your interest on this but I would like to make you aware of the situation...Before I start YES there was mistakes made and for that I hold mysely totally responsible and would like to apologise for obviosly upsetting you all...I was approached by LRLFC just before christmas who asked me to do some pitchside announcing to which I agreed albeit I have never done this before...At the briefing before the game i was told to announce the teams at 2.30 and then again about 2.55 and also do the half time draw on the pitch to which i did that was all i was doing...It was agread the guy in the crows nest would announce all tries and conversions and also substitutes but just before kick off it was radioed down to me to try and do the on/off movements on the side line as he could not see properly fron the crows nest...Totally unexpected to do this..I agreed to have a go to which like i said earlier yes mistakes was made and I hope to rectify these with the more experience I gain but for the mean time again I apologise and will try and rectify all mistakes made and to give as much imformation out as possilby can...Again sorry for this and please bare with me...

Most of the crowd on sunday won't be at the LSV again this year so I wouldn't worry about it
