I'll just add a bit of sensibility about the Yorkshire teams. Most of the lads playing outside of SL subsidise their weekly wage by playing RL and win bonus's.

The thought of a team saying 'lets throw this £XYZ win bonus in the bin so ABC can stay in the league' is a bit silly. They spend all year knocking lumps out of each other for not a lot of money, so why on earth would they throw away a good few hundred quids win bonus?

So you'd honestly prefer that Catalans got relegated and went bust rather than them going on to develop a thriving team that can attract 18,000 to a game in Barcelona? I think its more telling that a club who have been around for over a century can't pull in a decent crowd.

Yep I saw all three coaches a few weeks ago sat in the bingo at featherstone working mens club, plotting the relegation of Leigh.
They then sat down with the teams and told them they would have to lose ans obviously would not get win pay either....all the lads said yes thats fine we will throw the game we dont need thewin pay.........numpty

I did over react last night , just responding to a d--head and I was at an all time low,its just that I was so sure that Batley would win and it was proved to be right.Anyone can get anger and frustration fog their thinking once in a while and to be honest I'm far from a bad loser usually.

What I do know is that Leigh did not play up to their standards this season but to go down 3rd from bottom of a 10 team league,when the RFL have a non releation or promotion policy for SL is sickening.The next time I see Lewis or Wood on telly I think I hope I don't have anything heavy in my hand,or its a trip to Currys soon after.
