Alan a truer word has never been said, Leigh wanted the Friday night and Swinton confirmed the Sunday with Keighley, Featherstone throw their dummy out of the pram and low and behold the RL come down in favour of them. On Sunday the LSV management were insisting that the RL were looking into this yet they had sent e-mails to Keighley telling them that Leigh's game will be on Sunday..... Dogs dinner springs to mind.

Marshy when you know the date and venue for Lions v Keighley could you post it on here as a few of us Leythers do watch you when we aren't playing.

Leigh requested the Friday night so released the Sunday date over to Swinton, who then swiftly agreed it with Keighley and both of them officially announced it.

Only problem was that Leigh had banked on Featherstone just agreeing to the Friday night and they didn't, hence the farce.

So surely the two innocent parties here are Swinton and Keighley therefore common sense should prevail and Leigh/ Fev find an alternative date?

swinton can play at 12.30 it's not as though there will be a Hugh crowd, also charge um an extra fiver and they an stay and watch both games, sorted !!!

Give Swinton and Keighley the east stand and the keep/share the gate receipts for that stand and everyone's happy.
