Been a long shower frank!

I'd only move KO times that clash with any major England football Internationals (World Cup, European Championships etc) and as they are usually known way in advance it shouldn't effect the people who bought ST's as the club should have already planned for it.

As a lifelong Liverpool AND Leigh fan I will be watching the team playing in a Cup Final. If that was Leigh it would be them. But as it isn't I'll be watching Liverpool.

Probably not Alan, but I can't see them re-arranging the match at this stage.....those Taffs and Scousers will have already booked hotels and trains and everything!!!

I'm also a Leigh AND Liverpool fan - there might be more of us than you might think. I doubt I will be watching either though!

Ive said this before , my owd Dad told me when i was very young ,"Choose your team very carefully , youonly EVER support one team ", and thats very true , i like Lancashire Cricket team , and like Nicky Henderson as a Horse Trainer , but my team is the one and ONLY Leigh Centurions .

Didn't realise it made you less of a fan because you watch other sports. Lesson learned I suppose.

You were dead right Frank it did clear up lovely cold night for watching a good game of RL.

I suppose the point Charlie is making is that you can enjoy as much sport as you like, and follow the fortunes of other teams in other sports, but there will always be one sport, and one team that takes precident over any other - and if you have to ask yourself (on occasions were there is a clash) "which should I watch?"....then you aren't the 'fanatic' you thought you were!!

If you'd sooner watch or go to the Carling Cup final than Leigh v Hunslet - then you're a Liverpool/Cardiff/Wendyball fan who also enjoys watching rugby!!!

I was going to Carling Cup final had City had a bit more luck in the semi. So that makes me City over Leigh. I have also missed City league games to watch SL GF. So that makes me more of rugby fan than City fan. I have also watched Leigh big game over City league game. So that makes me more Leigh than City......it goes on but I think you get my drift.

Different matches hold different values for me.

Leigh v Hunslet doesn't mean too much. A cup final for Liverpool means a lot more. A cup final for Leigh vs A Cup Final for Liverpool = Leigh win every time.

I'll be at Leigh, because I'll be working. If it wasn't for that, I'm not sure I would be there as I value the Carling Cup Final more than I value a NRC group stage match versus lower league opposition.

All other things being equal, Leigh win comfortably every time. But not every Leigh game is equal, and not every Liverpool game (or England game, or NY Giants game, etc.)

I watch a number of sports and watching Leigh is top of the bill for me. However, the premise here is that if we can easily avoid it, why even force people to make the choice?
