| Opportunities to watch your national team virtually on your doorstep don't come round very often. I cringe when I hear some of the reasons for not going.

| If this game isnt close to selling out as many say above its the final nail in our SL coffin. Its our chance to show the RFL we want top flight rugby at a great stadium.
Incidently tho, check out the crowds that have watched England play a world cup game at Knowsley Road in 2000 and more recently how Wigan couldnt sell out the ground against Australia.

You can't pin it on the individual clubs Ste, I thought it was embarrassing that it wasn't a sell out against the Aussies last year (albeit not far off) when you consider it was the only game on this side of the hill, but the entire RL community in this country should be desperate to see our national side in action, and I just can't understand those who choose not to when none of the usual excuses (prices etc) can apply.

Totally agree if tis game is not a sell-out ........its got naff all to do with the club of Leigh but more to the apathy of the RL fans in general.......... I`ll be there as I will at wembley etc.....

Garbage. It's got nothing to do with Leigh, we aren't marketing or promoting it and I doubt we're getting any kickbacks from it either. What I would say is I hope they're advising people to arrive early with the traffic lights on the bridge as they're scheduled to be their for up to 8 weeks.
In addition they need to ensure all the catering facilities are well stocked etc because the service at some of our home games leaves a lot to bne desired. I realise this is out of the clubs control but the LSV need to look at it.

| A lot of people from around leigh will turn out for this game. I've been brought into the game despite never living in Leigh by my Dad, but since the LSV has opened we managed to persuade my grandad to come to 6/7 games last year and he really enjoyed it. This year he has bought a season ticket and hasn't missed a home match as well as making a few away matches (he loved 'Fax away )
For the England V France match my grandma is making her 2nd visit to the LSV (her 1st being the 1st wigan friendly) And I have every confidence that in a year or 2 she will be a leigh season ticket holder.
This match is a BIG bonus for the club. If you know ANYBODY who hasn't been to the LSV either recently or at all then get them down for this big game, with a big crowd and a great atmosphere and try and get them hooked on the RL bug!!!

| Note to EMC , the staffing levels at our last home game was poor , as was the quality of the booze as ever . Yet myself and others are daft enough to keep buying it , I say until conditions improve boycott the concourse bars .
Constantly hearing people complain that the lines are not clean , lager should have some life in it , no gas = no bubbles and crap taste .
Time for EMC to pull their fingers out and justify a better service for the extortionate prices that they are still charging , either sort it or lose custom . As the merekats say " SIMPLES "

They've opened both bars in the North Stand and got more staff in there (as they said they would in fairness) now but thats pointless if the lager runs out or they have kids working there who cannot legally serve it in the first place.
Every game the lines go down for one reason or another meaning they have to pour pint after pint of froth for 10 minutes, the multi-pint things don't bloody work, and they still insist on charging stupid amounts especially for kids drinks.
The secondary spend is as poor as the product being offered, one day they might not only realise this but do something about it. Until then £2.50 for decent Becks or Stella in the Park Inn (and even cheaper in the Easts for their lager) will win hands down.
