We are obviously risking alienating someone who has put enormous effort into LISA to the point where she is thinking of giving up.

That would be tragic in my opinion.

Jeez 23 pages on this... No time to read the last 20 pages. If the centurions board are offering LISA a position on the board is it not as simple as a quick restructure of LISA to ensure who ever is the LISA chairman I
Is also the Centurion board member??

All the above obviously subject to LISA members voting to accept the position then under standing that when they are voting for a LISA chairman they are also voting for the board member???

Too simple an idea TS - wot if this said 'Chairperson' (Chairman is sexist TS ) fails an interview with the current board - or do you suggest we appoint 5 Chairpersons to be selected from
It's a good idea though - as I do not see the need for our representative to be 'vetted' before being accepted 'on board' so to speak.

The jist of it is ,leigh offered a spot to lisa,dick jones wants to be the elected person but won't come out and say it.

A few don't want lisa tied to the board as its independant and frank b does not want to spend £200 on postal vote

And thats about it.

People are geeting mixed up with what is on offer here, I will be getting it clarified properly , me and Keith will be speaking with the Directors on this, way I see it is LISA will get to become a board member and a share and not become a Director, so it will remain as always independant. However I need to clarify this.
So far the only people to consider applying are LISA Committe members ,me and Keith.
No one has offically submitted to apply as yet including me, Im considering it.
If I decided this is what I wanted and I was the choosen one, I would not be coming on here anymore.
I do deal with many things in my every day life like running a business and doing the accounts my self, chasing payments, issuing payment dealing with sales people mithering about anything from mobile phones to trying to sell me private health care and I cope with it all very well, at times I get stressed and erupt but thats life, I am what I am, I say it as I see it, but I love helping people and put others before myself and I think Im one of the most unselfish people you could meet. Im not everyones cup of tea, but I dont care about that neither.
My aims are to carry on supporting my club the best way I can and helping them in any way I can.
The club will probably not want me to apply because they will probably see it as who would then do my role in LISA if I was doing that.
So lets leave it for now, get a proper summary of what is offered and then let the membership decide.
