Addressing the word ‘cheating’ to the ref is the reason for the difference in ban. Nothing to do with inconsistency.

So effin at the ref should get you a lesser grading so long as you don't mention the word cheating.

Yes, that’s about it, abuse the ref using foul language you get a ban, call his integrity into doubt and the ban increases. I suppose replacing ‘bar steward’ with one of the common four letter insults would add another match.

I get called all sorts me ,i couldn't care less. If someone accuses me of a thief,then if can prove it then fair enough. otherwise i would tell them to F*** O**

Just trying to make a point about the difference between general insults with bad language, and having your integrity questioned. Replace the word thief with cheat, or fraud or corrupt etc... Which is why Dawson got 5 games, and others get 1 game for abusive language.

To suggest Kendall is a cheat or biased is ridiculous, he's neither, he's just downright incompetent much like many of his Referee colleagues
Brian McDermott's quoted comments were also disgraceful and a massive insult to the Leigh club! If I was DB I would be asking Leeds for an explanation! All seventeen Leigh players on duty at Fev have NRL or SL experience with eight full internationals ! The way McDermott was talking you'd think we were a Pub team looking for a scrap !
Its rich coming from Leeds, a club who employ JJB,Ferris,Cuthbertson, Ablett and co the list goes on........

The point is, any player verbally abusing the ref should automatically get a [size5[/size match ban, Then players might think twice in future. It should be that only the captain can question the refs decision,and leave it at that.
