Quote Krzzystuff="Krzzystuff"Again it's all about the facts here.
We released Rhys Jacks grudgingly as we weren't able to get him classified as a Canadian player, he is Aussie and is the captain of the Wolverines as a heritage player, as we have a signing coming and we needed the quota for foreign players. Tom Dempsey is the other player who got released and is another Oz who plays for the Wolverines though his Heritage.
Quinn Nagwati is still part of the team, =#40BF00i believe he might get loaned out as he is only 18 and needs to develop still through regular game time and the Championship might be too much too soon in an aspiring team looking for promotion.
But you did get it right that we released some Canadian players so keep up the effort!'"
First of all Krzzystuff welcome to the forum.
As highlighted above, thats a very difficult age without a under 19's structure to accommodate him.
Something the UK game with trying to promote the game via SL lost contact with, along with other youth/reserve projects abandoned in the name of a specific TV broadcaster which in fairness saved the game but as now become the demise of the game.
We now have Clubs like Bradford,Halifax,Sheffield and even London who are all fighting to survive in the game, the list just continues. Wakefield are in turmoil with their ground and who knows what will happen with Salford!
You are a fan of a team that has money to burn, but the clubs above also had the same at some point.
Even we Leigh! Where gone at one point and the collection buckets were out!
Over the years we have seen things put in place restricting clubs from progressing in the name of expansion, the Super league door was closed for a decade to Championship.
The lower tiers have always been treated unfairly,be that by the governing body,TV broadcaster or expansion.
Welcome to Rugby League.
