I said at the start of the season, we'd blow the rest away and also said we were going places we'd never been since 1982.... And we'd win the cup in 3 years...

Now I'm saying like I've always thought we are a top 6 SL team and will win the middle 8's... Unfortunately no bookmaker would provide odds pre season I suspect they will chalk us 3rd or 4th favs in July...

Don't think it was a poor attendance at all, game against a lower struggleing team in awful weather, wasn't bad for a Championship game. Is odd wondering where people have dissapered to but not unexpected.

I think its a great attendance,hopefully could get near 4,000 on bank holiday monday,swelled by a few Jersey centurions!

Bradford game seems a bit of anomaly to me - first game of season, top opposition who brought a huge following and, it appeared to me, a large amount of people who appeared to be at their first game. The last point is an assumption but the folk I am talking about certainly weren't your regulars but seemed like locals. It crossed my mind that they may have been recipients of complimentary tickets. Do the club give many tickets away?
Anyhow, I'm not remotely concerned about the attendance and can see some record breaking gates on the near horizon!

I was well impressed that we topped 3,000, after two days of continuous heavy rain, for a fixture that most assumed (no disrespect intended to Whitehaven) would be one-sided.

Those who chose to miss the game missed some top quality entertainment and excellent attacking rugby.

I thought the gate was good considering the weather and the lowly opposition.

I did expect a few more though...

Whilst I think its a very long time since we had over 3,000 on v Whitehaven (thus not a bad attendance) I also think it shows we have a long way to go in getting people back watching us every other week.
I think the Bradford gate is one that raised peoples expectations but in saying that I do think we need to be aiming for what we got v London in the league regardless of who the opposition is and that should be the aim this season.
Lots of work to be done but we are going in the right direction.

Thinking about it properly i would say win Superleague and the Challenge Cup.You are playing top class Championship teams, and with 9 or 10 players out your invincible. The back up is world class at Leigh.
