A mere technicality. Who do you think set in place the training schedules and brought together a squad, and coaching team, and instilled the fantastic team spirit, when the whole club was in limbo, between October and January?

For my money, that's the period where he did his best work, that was recognised with a contract.

He and his assistants, (who he readily praises) have done an incredible job, especially given the circumstances, they had to endure.
