More than 6,200 - just. But there was a distinct 'novelty' aspect to the stadium then - i.e. a lot of 'curious' Leythers, who just wanted to say 'I was there for the official opening'!  |

we did just that against wigan a game which we should have won, our guys give everything too! |

Well said!! I posted last week that we may not have great team on paper but remember the team Tony Benson Had or we had last season? They were better by far on paper BUT they played with no pride no effort no comitment to the club or the fans IF we had of lost yesterday i hope everyone that was there would of been as proud as they were winning! |

Spirit is immense. We are fitter and more committed than last season. Tenacity and spirit got us throughyesterday, and at Sheffield, Doncaster and against Whitehaven.
But just think what the addition of a couple of class players might do........... |

Is it that he's deaf? Because yesterday he seemed to be struggling to hear the crowd at the end of the game even though he was right in front of us... Most strange....

Fantastic for a club who have a bigger population than Leigh and no other club of any significance in any code for 50 miles at least,and have just played brilliantly against Wigan
If you don't get near to 3000 on a Bank Holiday in a derby now ,you might as wel give up.
