| Alreet fellow leythers, this is my first post for the forum and hope its a good en for you as I have been desperate to say this for a very long time.
Back in March I was talking to a current Warrington Coach who lives in Leigh and managed to have a quick convosation with him regarding Leighs empty post. Neil Jukes had just been sacked at the time, and the coach replied he wouldnt go near the Leigh vacancy because of Derek Beaumont as he interfears too much and dosent let the coach coach.
I also used to speak to Bodene Thompsons mrs and when he went to Warrington, I had a convosation with her telling her my views on Derek Beaumont how I thought he is a cowboy salesman, to which she replied her and Bodene liked Derek when they first came, but then got to realise what hes really like.
So for the Derek Beamont fans that still exist, theres some more evidence to why this club will go no where if it has him at the top
Monty Burns and Harold Rigby Ive really enjoyed your contributes on here for a long time, keep it going.

| Cheers ginja a Few things are telling me Derek will still be at leigh next season but with a more laid back approach and leave the coaching to the coach and also the recruiting instead of inventing a job like what was done for cunningham

Where will the money come from? If he's hoping to take you into Admin and then buy back without debts he needs to learn from what happened to us at Bradford. Once an Administrator gets involved all bets are off and anything could happen.

| Derek not skint just do what it takes to get back to bare bones and then start again this time with a better plan and spend money wiser. The championship will be tougher next year than it as ever been there going to be some good teams in and with the proposal of one up one down that will make more competitive than it was this season to be honest I enjoyed this season competition apart from us not making the top 4

| Ok, so looking for a brief explanation from any business minded folk here.
If it is true that DB is looking to take the Club into administration & then buy back debt free, is this a) within law presumably & B) is morally corrupt IMHO as a means to avoid debt/renage on paying staff/creditors etc.
Also, is there also the possibility that the RFL would 'NOT' accept him as 'fit & proper' owner to run a RL Club during the admin process ?

Well surely the guy taking it into admin can't then buy it back - and if so who from suppliers, staff and fans would trust him ongoing
That couldn't possibly happen surely

If you wanted to trawl through the Bradford forum you would find the answers to all these questions.
Basically they can go into Admin with a 'friendly' Administrator and do a £1 buy back. The problem is that the Administrator is bound by law to get the best deal for the Creditors and you can then get the case of someone offering a better deal than e.g DB. This seems relatively simple with a possible twist, but do-able. You now get the scenario whereby the Administrator prefers one buyer but then the RFL refuse to accept them as fit and proper. At this point you have a bit of a stalemate. All this time the clock is ticking towards next season. Once the buyer is selected you have the issue of TUPEing across staff and players.
And then before you start the season you have penalties imposed by the RFL and you also need to find new suppliers as the old ones don't want to be twice bitten.
The bottom line is if DB wants out then you have to hope he finds a buyer. If he decides to go around again hope that he doesn't want to use the Admin route to wipe any debt.
Good Luck.
