Lets face reality here:

We were sold a dream, how many times did we hear - The coaching Staff have been monitoring this player that player and is an excellent prospect, up and comming star etc.

The coaching team have been to Austrailia and learned some valuable training tactics, we have spoke to top coaches.

Our pre-season will be tough to help them compete

We want a team that will not only compete in Super League but will stay there.

We were sold it and I bought into it. (would have done anyway even without the hype).

Our season tickets are more expensive than some Super League teams. (want the best, you have to pay for it - no complaints)

But I follow Leigh and bought one. (Like I do every year)

Lets have a look how Mr Beaumont has treated us in return this last week !!!

Sunday:

Changed the kick off time from 3 pm to 5.30 pm so he and his best buddy can go watch Man Utd, How many people did that "put out", sure its only 2.5 hours later - Thats 2.5 hours later the stewards are getting away later, 2.5 hours the emergency services are getting away later, 2.5 hours the fans, grounds men, bar workers and even toulouse are getting away later.

All because he wanted to watch a football match - the worst thing is he went on TWITTER and made up a little song about it using "I,m into something good" song replacing it with something like "Changed the kick off time cause I could" - cool well done

Leigh were poor - very poor (we were playing 12 men) and in the lead and we still managed to loose, how? (bearing in mind that we have a team full off NRL / SL players and led to believe we are making a concerted effort to get back to the "promised land". Understandably the fans became a little annoyed.

I dont agree with booing our players (it helps the away team) and I didnt boo, A lot did also the dis-approval of the coach was sang. Everyone has an opinion and living in a democracy, free speach is a right, something our owner doesnt like.

He called us despicable and disgusting and even said he didnt appreciate us clapping Tolouse.

I am sick to death of hearing these words: Money, Owner and Walk away this week.

Yes Derek we know you have money (you tell us enough times), we are all aware you "own" the club (again you never mention it) but now we have to endure the "Marwan book of threats" with "if the minions get out of control, threaten them with walking away" objective - it will shut them up and they will all become little Lemmings and treat you like a Demi God again.

As per normal protocol for Mr Beaumont - Thanx for all you have done and its much appreciated, you are my hero - but dont treat me like an idiot.

Excellent post Zulu ! I like Derek, (only met him a few times) but in my opinion, his behaviour is a little erratic at the moment. Be it interviews/social media (to say the least) FFS. How some fans behaved last Sunday was nothing compared to what happens at football clubs. So for about 20 minutes there is 'muted' Jukes out chanting, then louder "you're getting sacked in the morning" BIG WOW ! I did not applaud Toulouse when they scored, but at the end of the game when they came to the North Stand and clapped the Leigh fans, I clapped back.....they deserved it !! DESPICABLE behaviour....not at all Derek. It wasn't nice for Neil Jukes to hear I agree....but that's all.

And that was after MOM L Hood had to explain himself in front of everyone, apologising no end. He must've wanted the floor to open, and swallow him up. This is very embarrassing, humiliating for the player, and very unprofessional. If that's how the MOM gets treated, then no one will want to win it on Sunday.

The LSV became a fortress. Sunday saw that guard lowered which goes against DB's ethos. He always said if they support me,I'll continue to support them.

His own words state he doesn't like being in a position that he can't control. Sunday took him out of that control.

He'd been on a double header,admitted he shouldn't being talking and reiterated the cost of £750k a season to run the club. Mike Latham didn't look a happy chappy.

The interview is a cheap shot at the fans isn't it, We are being made the scapegoat. It is rather poor. I expect better from Derek to be truthful.
