I don't even try to fathom salary cap in the SL or Championship. It is akin to working out the point scoring on QI.

That brings back memories.
I remember many moons ago when we had been promoted to the old first division (SL as now) at an away game at Sheffield Eagles that was actually played at Doncaster (anyone know where - be around the time Billy Benyon was in charge) and Peter had a less than brilliant performance as we lost when as he walked off an old women (must have been at least 80) opened her purse and threw 6 or 7 1pence coins on the floor in front of Peter and said 'I wouldn't pay you in pennies for that performance' before putting her headscarf on and storming off!
Not to say Yorkshire folk are tight but as we walked away I did notice a Sheffield fan hovering up the pennies off the floor and dispatching them in his pocket! |

Lee Smith is a quality signing, he has never got back to his best since going to the other code, he looks sow and cumbersome at times no where near the pace he had at one time but a good football brain on him and a fantastic goal kicker. I liked him at Wakey I am sure he will excel in the championship and has experience to assist in the middle 8s presuming you get there which should be a formality unless you implode as a team.
