Never been to a CC Final (always said I'll wait until Leigh get there!) but you're right about the SL Grand Final - always seem to be groups of blokes out on the lash all day who can't take their ale and end up having a bit of pavement dancing with similar groups. Must say I've always been surprised that they can even get a beer before the game as Sam Platt's, Exchange Bar etc are always mobbed from about 1pm! |

| Well I enjoyed the day and the match.
It is a great day out and the vast majority of fans I met were friendly and enjoying the day.
Wembley CC Final is a day when fans of other clubs meet up for a great time' to celebrate the game and have a good moan about the RFL hierarchy.
We bumped into Martin Ridyard and his mates who were on his stag do. Hope they will recover in time for next week.  
Was told something which will please most Leythers but not Faxfans - sorry lads 
Peawapp you'll get over it.  I am sure it's true. Hope so. |

We decided to give Wembley a miss this year, but so as we didn’t miss the tube, the beer and the rugby league, we went on the [url=http://www.ale-trail.co.uk/ale trail[/url stopping off at George Hotel Huddersfield to watch the final.

staying with my Niece - four of us making a day of it on Saturday meeting up with other Leythers before and after the game. Staying till Monday for my birthday bash with the family then off to Cornwall for a few days - see you all in a week then (after Thursday's game) - the only thing is the bloody weather.
