See I dont call it begging, I call it a reality of sport that external funding is required and as we build revenues that external funding may be greater or not required at all.

A board of shareholders being asked to fund £100k every year is nothing in the world of sport, we cannot survive on gates and if every other penny is begging in your opinion then beg we must. I do not call sponsorship, acquiring shares or a couple of quid a week on the Lifeline as begging but others obviously do.

We have a hole to fill then must attract those willing and able to come onboard to create the bright future we have before us.

Of course it is. You cut your costs below your income streams. Simples. However, if you want to compete in this league, then you have to increase your income streams to cover your increased costs ie higher salaries. That is why we are currently in the s4it.
