It would be easy to get emotional about these decisions but we are in a business of winning.
I have to say that every time I saw Matty play he put everything into it. When he put that shirt on he was Leigh through and through. Good luck both the lads.

Tracey is a promising looking player but at the rate the team as a whole is improving it's not really fair to keep him on on the chance he'll be good enough one day when he's good enough for many teams now. All the best of luck to him.
Disappointed Sarsfield has gone, a good player who was unlucky with injuries. I'd have liked to keep hold of him, ideally send him out on loan for a month or two then bring him in to rotate the squad in the middle of the season. If he wants more than that though, and he's certainly capable of it, then good on him and all the best to him.

Snowy old son, if Sarsfield was half as good as you lot make him out to be Degsy would keep him, but he isn't players move on , get over it ,as for Fax?We have far better players in our team than Mr Sarsfield we Defford don't need him, he will end up at Swinton, Oldham ,or Barrow. |
