A tight hard match that could go either way. When Goulden has missed tough matches in the past, we have floundered very badly. I am hoping the lure of a GF just 80 mins away can buck this trend. We are in excellent form, but so are Sheffield. We have a full pack missing. Not excuses, just facts. However, I hope the terrific desire and spirit of this team, can take us one step further than last year. The events of last Thurs, should also be a big motivator. Two good sides. Should be a cracker. I am sure we are capable of pulling it off. Let's hope we do.

I honestly don't think you'll have the ammo to counter their heavy artillery. Goulden and Hendo both missing are heavy blows that may cost you the game.
I really hope the Leigh players can lift themselves and do a full 80 like they did for the first 30 at our gaff.

well i was a bit worried until i read the preview to when we beat them in the league in june.goulden was missing then it said and we were down to the last 17 men.if we had an injury before kick off we would have to go with 16 rowley said ,we beat them 40-12 then.i know they are playing well but i think its our turn for the final,i go 28-16 to leigh..mom.ridyard.just hope we dont pick any injuries up if we do win.

Goulden did play when we put 40 on them. I remember us resting loads of men for that stupid match with the French and then they all came back for the Sheff match. Apparently these 17 players were involved. McNally, Maden, Littler, Gardner, Pownall, Ridyard, Briscoe, Ostick, Beswick, Spencer, Laithwaite, Goulden, Hopkins, Gallagher, Hendo, Brierley and one other ha ha! Not sure who. Maybe Nico. Make your own mind up whether you think that was a stronger line up than what we have on tomorrow. Really think you have been reading the preview for this match, Michael B ( perhaps). Anyway, motivation and desire are huge factors and despite it being a huge ask, still think we can do it. Come on Leyth!

Seems to me most are thinking the Seagulls will win , well im not , this Leigh team as with most Leythers show Courage in the Face of Advirsity ,after listening to PRs post match TV interview on Premier Sports , i think he will have the team fired up and ready to take us to another Grand Final .

Maybe we have few guys missing ,but the others will do us proud , im going for a score of Leigh 28 - Seagulls 18 .

Parker lined up in the front row too last time apparently. He is the man I missed out. It was a stronger team on paper, but we all know not to write this Leyth team off this season. That's all in the past now and we still have it in us to win tomorrow, IMO.

We need an expansive gameplan though, the usual tire em out down the middle tactic will not work. Respect the ball in our half, kick early with a good chase and push it at every opportunity
