Hi James, Lynda here form LISA, you are quite welcome to attend our next meeting, but as Trevor has planned a fans forum in Oct we will be having our next meeting now in November.
Thinking about it, no one asked us for the yearly figures of dd from LISA surely they would need this to work out their budget, rest of LISA income isn't is not a given amount , as the coach, forcast and poker all raise different amounts each week, however the coaches will have been over 1500, the poker well over 1000 , not so sure about the forcast, then we have had the \play, dvd sales. Then also we have the Hankies by Stephen Morris and the Rosettes by Sharon Dillion.
At the meeting it was said that LISA had given the club 10000 so far this season, and we still have money in the bank.

We have 357 members and more that are in the pipe line, plus I intend to do a big push for members at the fans forum, as its this and the co-operate club that can really help income wise.

Those figures are great and im sure over the next few months the club can move foward in the right direction

If one of your biggest concerns is the price of beer and pies then we must be great shape

My concern is not the price of beer and pies but you cant expect fans to pay them prices after they have paid to get into the game you look at a family of four going to the game they would be paying in the region of at least £40 for programes, food and drinks not including tickets if they are not season ticket holders.

You're very welcome here but you need to give us some context, as another poster has pointed out. We already have plenty of people with plenty of ideas - what we lack is the people with the time and money to execute them! So please forgive those of us who would appear to be less than enthusiastic.

I suggest that the club issues some kind of communication to formally introduce you to the fans. Your first post is riddled with grammatical errors and typos which is not the most professional way to introduce yourself - nor is this the best forum to do that anyway.

I am sure your youthful energies will be very welcome in helping the club move forward, but you need to understand how LRL and LSV work refn income streams eg The RL Club gets nowt from and has nowt to do with your pre match pie n pint.

One thing will allow us to reach our potential and thats income from a properly structured club. It doesnt matter if the income comes from 300 or 3000, although growing gates is another box tick and essential for phase 2 recovery.

Buying your pint and pie adds nothing to the coffers of LRLFC

Keep your enthusiasm, get involved with LISA and enjoy the ride called LRLFC.

A lot of people on here speak a lot of sense , and no I've not been sniffin the Lobby when I say that .
Quite a few good ideas from our very own fans could do the club a world of good if the powers that be let us have an opinion and take onboard some of the fans ideas / concerns for our club.

Have to agree with other posters about much needed context or official club news to tell us any good news about potential backers or white knights arriving at the LSV .

Voicing concerns / opinions is our right as fans , Our Town, Our Team, Our Dream .

All it takes Gaz is for somebody on here to join the Professional support group, but like in the past there's lots of ideas but nobody takes them forward.

As for news Gaz did you not see the fans forum vid or the LISA report? or Trevors comments in the programme (available on LeighLife now I do believe) there aint much if any good news about.

I have emailed Trevor Barton asking to join the Professional support group, Has i have been invited to the LISA next meeting i will outline my ideas and gain feed back and i hope Trevor Barton replies to my email has the fans are the core of the club and i hope to be the person on the Board who speaks up for you the fans and puts your questions and ideas foward.

Good on you James ,I take it you are one of the younger fans of Leigh and so it can only be a good thing that you are taking such an interest in whats happening at the club .I wish you well in your endeavour as one of the people who are trying to make LRL a better prospect .
