Injuries anyone?'" When Sheffield score their 3rd try we had a player down injured about the half way line. I think it was Rourke but the stand is a long way from the pitch at the Don Valley and my eyesight isn,t 2 good long distance. At the same time Higson was injured so we at the time of the score only had 11 men.
Stewart had a good game when he came on, which was his best for a long time, imo.C Hill mom for me.
We were the best side and deserved the win but it was nailbiting because of penalties we conceded at crucial times.
For me we didn,t play as well as we are capable but a win is a win.

If anything, I think it's because he's found his role in the side rather than being allocated two or three different roles as he has in the past.

| was a good win. Ned was very kind to the ref on Radio Manchester, said we should have "bent our backs" more. For me he was one of the worst refs I've seen. You give penalties for nothing, you have to end up giving penaties at every PTB...he gave a penalty on almost every set the Ducks had...and not to us. But...we won anyway! Had the penalty count been the other way we would have posted a cricket score. Agree Chris Hill MOM. Watson also led from the front, you never see him hide. What position was Morty playing?

| Good win today and another good leigh following.
A few too many penalities imo and need to cut back on that if we want to challenge this year.
Some good work from the forwards.
I too agree Chris Hill mom with some more good running from Morrison and Hobson(Beautiful offload for second try)!!!

| well it wasn't pretty, but lets be honest who cares we won, but i tell you what we won't keep winning if we give pens away as much as we did today, yes we can blame the ref, but were does thgat get us, yes nowhere. But on saying that once again it shows the team spirit and down right guts we show as a team, chris hill was awesome, getting fed up of writing that, but will have to get used to it as he just gets better and better, every time he takes the ball he drives the defence back, chris hill if stays fit will walk of with player of the year, not just at our club for for the league, well done to all the boys you never gave in, can i confess something, i didn't think we'd win prior to the game, sorry lads i really should have more faith you in you.

| Did Jamie Durbin play today and how did Hobson get on. I kept hearing his name being mentioned on the radio.

|
| I'll echo most everbody elses comments any win is a good win at Sheffield. We've had some very close games with them over the years.

| Mike Morrison also had a good game tackling and straight running, we must have the best trio of young props all 3 Hill, Morrison and Meekin are under 23 and in 'prop' terms are only 'babies' all can only get better all are keen and have different skills.

| I agree with Wheresyerball - Steve Maden was excellent yesterday - well done to him, he made a heap of metres out of dummy half.
