Does anyone know what actually happened then for your club wanting to play this on a Friday when you normally play on a Sunday and it can be played on Sunday ?

One suggestion would be to allow a bigger gap before the game the following week which isn't exactly uncommon. Though why anyone would be particularly bothered now that it's decided, I don't know. |

That could well have been the thinking, from our players' and coach's point of view. Of course, in this case, it would also have given Fev a bigger gap between those two games too!  |

Bottom line, Fev fans wanted Sunday, Leigh fans wanted Sunday if the early pages of this thread are anything to go by. Everyone's happy, and what's important is this game is going to be played in a cracking atmosphere, and hopefully with Leeds/Sts on Saturday this is a game some of the national media will decide is the game to see on the Sunday, there are a few low-key games that day that might not have much atmosphere. |
