Extraordinary coup for the LSV to get someone of his reputation
Seen the seating plan and the pitch is going to get a bit of a pasting - seating from the 25 yard line at the south stand end all the way back to the North Stand
Well done to the LSV management on this - puts the place well and truly on the map

Charlie your memory seems to be slipping, you seem to have left out a couple of what I consider to be all time greats.
Alma Cogan "the girl with a giggle in her voice" and the great David Whitfield "the singing brickie", if I say so myself David Whitfield was even more famous that Frank Blackburn.

Not a fan of his, but there are not many artists today bigger than him.
All we need now is to contact Eddie Vedder and get the great 'Pearl Jam' to play LSV !!

He wont come to a game he will be to busy touring but the alternatives are
Present him with a framed signed replica shirt, also present him with two full kits for his kids hit him in the heart in other words, make him an honorary life member of the club, LISA to send him a letter telling him how lisa was formed and what they do and make him an honorary member or ask him would he take the post of Honorary President? so he may ignore it but what if he sends a cheque back for a grand or so? all for the cost of a bit of time and a stamp.
As a club we cant afford to lose this opportunity, if it doesn't come off well so what its a few quid wasted on a good cause.
