To have a large and successful company logo associated with the club and on the Leigh shirt next year has huge potential, one in raising it's profile and secondly in attracting other sponsors and partners.
The fact that it is O2 Leigh or Santandar Leigh etc etc is irrelevant.

What's an iPhone, Michael? 
I heard a mate mention it, but I think he was having me on.
He said that when it was his birthday, his wife bought him an i-PAD. Then when it was his son's birthday, she bought him an i-POD. When it was their daughter's birthday, his wife bought her this i-PHONE thingy, that you mention. Anxious not to be left out, and noticing the developing trend, when it came round to his wife's birthday, my mate bought her an i-RON. Apparently this was when their troubles seemed to start, and things got worse, when he tried to explain that it was supposed to go with other 'i' items, such as the i-COOK, i-CLEAN, and i-WASH! |

Over 50 years of pain,pleasure,frustration,joy,heartache and ecstasy that supporting Leigh has given me but I would not swop it.: |

Somebody within O2 at a senior level will have signed this off as branding is very important to large PLCs and they will have deemed Leigh suitable to wear the O2 logo.The financing may be from a local franchise but thats irrelevant we will have a much better financial deal and wear a logo that everyone recognises which you can't say for many SL clubs sponsors.
