You pass the railway on the way to the ground from the station. You also pass the Conti. You can also get a nice pint at the Duke of Edinburgh which is on the corner of the junction where the station is. Well that my Barrow tourism guide over with. Il be travelling all the way down/up and across from Flookburgh so a gentle driive in for me.

Just to let you know Matt I spent several weeks of my formative years in Barrow. I think it would be a walk of just over 10 minutes to Craven Park from Barrow Station.

Managed to get negotiate an earlier finish from work so just booked on the 14:47 from Preston so will be in Barrow for 4 o'clock, job's a good 'un.

On a more serious note, some guy from Barrow has been shot down in flames, for having the temerity to query the k/o change. (on Rugby League.org website) Behind his question was, I believe, the doubt that all interested supporters would find out in time. It's a long way to go, to miss 60 minutes of the game, through not having the internet!

I was planning to watch the reserves at the LSV on Saturday. League Express and the RFL web site has them playing at home this Saturday. Has the fixture been reversed ?

That's the price you have to pay, to fund a big name squad and coach. Plus, there's the opportunity to watch a game in an 'atmospheric' stadium. (cheap shot, I know - I actually enjoy visiting Barrow's ground)
