why do you not do as wayne is sugesting walk through one exit near tunnel and go in through the other entrance on the other side of tunnel simple

..... because there is no direct access underneath the stand between the two exits. If you want to transfer between the North West and South West corners this is the only way to go since the stewards stopped people walking past the tunnel.

I noticed this at the weekend and suddenly Freds words of it being condemmed came to me. Who ever put those in is not really upto speed with the IEE Wiring Regulations covering exterior power supplies. Dont know what the planning dept where thinking of that sort of thing should be on the plans, stating the type of materials to be used ans the IP rating of them.

The reason people need to walk across sometimes is that the person they are meeting is on the other side. (and isn't able to use a mobile phone before anyone asks...).

Seems to me the simple answer will be to relocate the Press Box permanently so that there is access and the West Stand remains undivided.

Surely this would be both possible and sensible?

Would LSV be prepared to do that though? Don't forget that the club's say in it is zilch.

Why can't you and your mates arrange which end to go in before you get there?

What would happen if they did relocate the press box and 2000 (we live in hope) decided to change ends?

I'm in the North I would have loved to relocate to the south last week end, but I couldn't.

Thats what me ant wife do watch our tries one side and go to the other side to watch the rest so far (touch wood)head) its been ok the stewards give you a nasty look but i think common sence is used. we used to do it at HP on the tommy sale side. I think they should close that pathway untill HT and open it on the hooter untill the players start coming out then close it (simple)makes sence to me, unless it becomes a safety issue again.
maybe they LSV and centurions get together and knock through a passway under the west stand and gate it and steward it I know a bloke with a big hammer

There are reasons why we can't arrange this in advance that I don't choose to discuss here. The comment that this is life at LSV is symptomatic of an attitude that says we should be satisfied with an inadequate service. I am sure that with a little goodwill on both sides the problem can be solved.
