Quote: Harold Rigby Jnr "Qick Question. Is the MPG a shared gate? And do the host club keep the commercial revenue streams ie Hospitality, catering, etc as opposed to the RFL hosting the game at the fourth placed teams ground awarding operating costs only.'"
Shared gate Harold. See A3.21 in Operational rules, below.
www.rugby-league.com/operational-rules/
That should work out fine for the away team, if Catalans are involved! (i.e. Catalans at home, they give us 50% of the gate, having sold 90% of the tickets, and vice versa if we are at home) Still, whoever wins won't care about that!

| Well, now Londons season is over. do they do a HKR and play a weakened team next week. For me Widnes win easily at CATS, because CATS are rubbish at the moment and the confidence is shot. Another big loss for them next week will completely finish them. There owner sat in the stand watching them at HKR said it all for me, he was not impressed at all and was resigned to relagation on that performance. Everything they do goes through Luke Walsh, keep the pressure on him when they have the ball and run at him in defence to make him do plenty tackling attempts and we should be fine. Home advantage is major.

We don't really have the option of putting the reserves out, we don't have any!
Maybe Green can play, along with Fleming and Hampshire, but that'll probably be out of necessity given injuries to Langi, Paterson and Crooks.

I think Cats may surprise a few folk,I certainly don't think they are rubbish, and are fighting for their lives as is everyone else, it would surprise me if the beat Widnes next week ,2 wins and we stay up ,I'm a betting man, but I wouldn't bet us winning 2 games.

Wasn't kiwileyther suggesting that London might turn out a weakened team though?
As for us, well we are already doing that!

Incidentally, those Operational rules also state that you should play your strongest available team. Of course, I'm not suggesting that HKR didn't do that.....................

einstien said insanity is when a person does the same thing over and over again but expects a different result: |

People have been saying that all year that they would come good in the 8s they've beat London by 2pts struggled against Fev beat our second string by a point and got hammered at home by you lot they were absolutely garbage for the squad they've got it was a case of give Walsh the ball and hope he does something I hope you survive Widnes deserve to go down but it's who holds there nerve in the MPG it's an horrible experience especially when your 8pts up with 2.53 on the clock and you still lose

| Yes I was on about London putting out a weakened team. As for telling the coaching team what to do, I think there is enough on here already doing that.

| Personally I expect it to be Widnes v Leigh in the MPG . Venue dependent on points difference come Saturday evening. My reasoning is that we never perform over there , our draw this season is the best we've done. We will be without Hanbury White and Bridge 3 of our more important big game players. But the main reason is I think Widnes will be referee'd out of the Game by the officials. The RFL will not want Catalans in the MPG with a chance of relegation.

I'm with Charlie on this, staying up is going to be very tough -- yet achievable IF. However, the negative momentum has been accumulating for a good 6 months and not an easy habit to break.

| If all't Leigh lads played with as much desire and commitment a HH then we'd be home safe by now.
We still have a chance but do we have togetherness etc etc? I am not sure.
Against a very poor Fax the other night we should have put more than 40 on them but simply couldn't.
Can we win in London? My heart says yes but mi yed says no.
