As for McNally, I've never seen Greg play anywhere near as bad as Mitch Brown did against Wire! he looked like an Old Man
Kirk as always I respect your opinion,Wigan have an abundance of talent and internationals to call on however, they had a fair few 1st choice players missing when we played them, not that it wasn't sweet to beat them,by no means am I a Wiganer but I do rate them and Shaun Wane highly and don't think they will be far away when it matters at the end of the season,I've also said everything went right for us that night.
I know you rate McNally highly and I respect that , but his defence isn't good, not many came out of Fridays game with a plus, Gregg is a good Championship player, and I think Hampshire would be as well ,you never know Jukesy might give them a chance before the end of the season.
Again this is only my opinion,we all want the same end product , a successful Leigh team, hopefully we may get it.Take Care.

I was originally in favour of Brown at full back, but can't leave McNally out because of his defence when we're already leaking 40 points a game. At least he might give us some shape in attack.
Hampshire should be on the wing, as should Clare when fit. Wouldn't be any problems with pace in the 3/4 then.

I agree with you. I've never rated McNally's defence but, having witnessed the last few games, it doesn't appear to be any worse than Brown's. (if we plugged some of the leaks in front of them, they would both look better!) For me, McNally times his incursions into the line, much better than Brown and has more pace. We need to find some attacking prowess for the 8's and that's why I would find room for both McNally and Hampshire in the team.

| Neil Jukes has one objective only this season - To ensure Leigh are still a Super League club next year.
Leigh were always going to have to achieve this though the Super League Qualifiers. If anyone thought differently then I am sorry you are deluded.
I see after the first heavy defeat inflicted on Leigh by a Super League team other than Castleford, the disgruntled ex Leigh officials are now busy sharpening the knives.

| It's not helped with our injuries and not having any youngsters to call on we are in desperate need of a academy but if we go down the funds will be spent on getting straight back up. We got to stick with jukes till end of season not going to get someone decent to fill his boots now so there just no point

I'd also say no to both. Not all Jukes' fault, I think the players available to him simply aren't as good (Dixon, Moimoi and Maitua out, Stewart, Green and Vea in. Worthington and Armstrong out but only Crooks brought in) But some of the selections made has been astoundingly bad, and he never inspires any confidence that he can turn form around.

I hear a lot about how much we're competing, but lets be honest, how many games have we lost, where we even looked like we could win.
Only Catalans and Leeds I can think of, but even then you knew we had a mistake in us.

Charlie we should respect the opinion's of all the posters on this Forum. That is their opinion and whether we agree with it or not, that is what makes the Forum interesting
You are quite right I do rate McNally highly and I do believe he has too much talent to be excluded from our team! Hampshire too is talented and never gives anything less than 100% when he plays which, is not always apparent from some of our players
I sincerely hope we have the ammunition to help us secure our Super League place as relegation is unthinkable!
What we have seen in this League is that any team, whether top or bottom, can be beaten and sometimes even thrashed!
I have thoroughly enjoyed being back amongst the top teams and, beating Saints, Wire, Wigan and Hull in our first season back is not to be taken lightly. We have got to regroup now as Club and ensure we succeed in retaining our position in SL and, that includes us Supporters too

Except he did. So, going into the last 20 minutes at Magic, we all knew we'd lose.
Salford away was at the time where scoring more than 6 points meant you had enough against us. Did we look like scoring a second try against them?
Wakey away was an absolute abomination of a performance in the second half.
My point was, we might not be getting thrashings, but plenty of teams have been beating us comfortably.

Not quite sure what you mean by " Has any player improved under his coaching" The majority of those Leigh players shouldn't need coaching at this level. Are they stepping up when called upon to do so? I'm not sure.
Has the team improved this season?
As comparing with what? The way they started? The way they have competed and not been the whipping boys. Are you comparing to how they improved in the Championship? Or how they got to SL?
Your opinion of a P45 carries no weight at present, without justifying it. The goal is set to stay in SL, not a P45 at this stage.
