Most halves play out wide in defence because they are not very good, then they get targeted by the second rows or even the front row forwards. Best defensive half for me is Thomas leululia.

I wasn't a massive fan of Ben at the beginning of the year and thought he slowed our play down. He has started to prove me wrong and prove exactly why I am not a super league coach and Neil is.
A swap for Atkins would not be a good deal, Atkins is not getting any younger and Ben is still not at his peak. Get him to pen a new contract!

Whats that got to do with anything lol ? I was only replying to the post about Thomas Leuluai being a good defensive half. If youre referring to Ben Reynolds being left alone to tacke the Cats player then i agree , no half back would have stopped him . |

You've just answered your own question. Not doubting Roberts' or Leuluai's defensive ability. But my point was that even they'd struggle in our team, as they would just be isolated too often. |
