| We all agree that Beswick shouldnt be starting at 7............I say Brierley to FB and McNally at 7, Beswick at 9 and Penky from the bench.

| A game to forget but as been said we got the 3 points and thats all that matters.
Before the season started I said we will do a Sheffield and start off slowly and grind out the wins........then peak when it matters at the business end of the season.

Mo , im hoping you go to the Worky game on Monday ?You will soon be in the armchair supporters brigade .
We need every supporter we can get , so Cmon Leythers get down to the LSV , and cheer the lads on , i think most of the players would be disappointed with yesterdays performance , so hopefully they will turn up on Monday to show the Supporters what they can do ,Worky had a good win yesterday so it wont be easy , and i think Paul will have the lads fired up for a good game .
Charlie is forcasting a Leigh win , with a score of Leythers 32 v Worky 16 ,lets forget all the in house arguments , band together , and cheer the lads on .

| If you can't be bothered to go keep your opinions to yourself! Admittedly it was an awful game but one positive was the improved defence. I also thought Rob Parker was excellent. Interesting refereeing performance too!!!. Forward passes galore but only one offside as far as I can remember. Offside at the scrum seems to have been forgotten nowadays even to the extent of the packs breaking up before the ball is out.

| Ref seemed fair but erratic.
Strangely, I enjoyed the game. It was obviously a plan by us to make mistakes so we could practice defence.
Defence was actually v good.
What was the crowd? Atmosphere poorer with N stand closed.

Hi Brian.
I don't think I've seen so many forward passes given although, to be fair, they were all well forward, and there were many the officials didn't give. Why is there such an obsession with lying flat and trying to gain a minimal advantage, by chucking the ball forward? It seems such a waste of hard-earned possession.

| I thought the run back by Finnigan and beating Penny to the ball saving a try was worth the admission fee alone ! he was knackered for quite a while after though

| There was a Leigh fan shouting "put your flag up touch judge" at every forward pass and offside....he didnt seem perturbed when I explained that never ever happens...and continued throughout.

| Agreed about Finnigan he's been excellent for us so far & is very entertaining to watch I do like his cheeky moments like Littler's at times Gardner showed some pace as well showing that he could still play on't wing & do a good job if needed. I thought Beswick's tackle/wrestle technique was perfect yesterday slowing the play down legally & very effectively.

| Isn't that half the fun of being a Leyth fan ? , you never know what kind of performance will be on show from one game to the next .
