| Quote: hatty "What did Alex Murphy do...except play scrum half, Ok he may have been good at the time, but what other talents has he got....please don't say coaching
Please dont say coaching, are you on drugs? He's achieved some of the greatest achievements ever as a coach!

| maybe it should be dedicated to Lancashire teams who have never lost when playing in a cup final at Wembley, I can think of one
Oh and I must agree with the crust munchers here Im afraid, Des was an excellent winger but can't be compared to a Great like Boston, sorry
But IF a statue dedicated to anything in RL it should be as the sport as a whole not one club or individual.

| suppose you could erect a Milward statue but once certain fans found out it'd look like the pigeons had gone to town on it

| How about something like the Best, Law and Charlton statue at OT, it could acknowledge the best of their generation,
From Wagstaff through to Edwards it would be more expensive but I think a fitting tribute.

| Quote: Leyther_Matt "Like I said, could be age-related. My first memory of a Challenge Cup final was [ithat[/i Offiah try against Leeds, even us Leythers have to admit that was a real touch of class.'"
You obviously didn't see Tom Van Vollenhoven's effort against W@@an in 1962 then?
