Club cant say nothing for a couple of weeks, but I believe we have signed 2 current SL players beyond those announced or rumoured to strengthen our Championship campaign and march to SL.

There is no way Alan Rowley would be this quiet otherwise. So either he has been kidnapped and locked in a cupboard or we are staying up.

Well I've heard from a good source (the second cousin of my next door-but-one neighbour who once watched a rugby game on TV in the 70's) and he said that not only are we [inot[/i going down, we're actually being promoted to Super League and will be given a 20 point start and can choose our own opponents!!
Apparently this remarkable turnaround came about because Richard Lewis has found God and realised that he's been unfairly biased against Leigh. He's now confessed that it was because he couldn't spell Leigh.
He also admits that after Leigh declined to name the LSV 'The Richard Lewis Stadium', he actively plotted our decline by threatening the referee's with the disclosure of the photos he took on a 'free for all' weekend at the 'GaysRus' resort in Bangkok. He also threatened some of our boys with Amy Winehouse if they scored too many tries.
He says he's sorry, he's been a very naughty boy and wants to know, do we still love him!!

I was given a list of players we had signed (or hoped to sign) for next season. Two of the list were current SL players, the other 5 players were from the Championship. Due to our demise at being relegated I would think that most of these signings (bar two) are realistic!
