| Quote: gingdong "Leeds utd have sung we are Leeds for years and every time Leeds have a corner they shout Leeds, leeds, leeds, like a war cry I know because I was brought up in the kop at Elland road. '"
Was that the original Kop or the one you 'nicked' from Liverpool

Nope nicked from Woolwich Arsenal's Manor Ground, which I believe was the first reference to the Spion Kop.
FWIW: The term Spion Kop (or Kop for short) is a colloquial name or term for a number of terraces and stands at sports stadiums attended by hardcore fans.
It comes from the Battle of Spion Kop in January 1900 during the Second Boer War (in particukar a hill near Ladysmith, South Africa, where the battle took place).
Wish I could sleep - can't wait for the game tomorrow.

"We love you, we love you, we love you
And where you go we follow, we follow, we follow,
'Cause we support the Leythers, the Leythers, the Leythers,
And that's the way we like it, we like it, we like it
OHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO"
Definitely not forgotten, in fact it was sung a few times at the Halifax game.
