Alan - as I have, in line with the AUP, you need to PM the Moderator and ask for an explanation and state your disapproval most fervently.

It was a question all the same I doubt you would have raised in the public domain before you left your role as programme editor and working in communications though Alan let's be honest.

It was actually me who suggested that the thread be deleted. I have no connection with the BOD whatsoever and had no ulterior motive except perhaps to try and get us to re-focus on the main event here which is, after all, the match.

Some people seem to enjoy the prospect of the club cocking something up. I don't.

Why on earth should he have to? This is an UNOFFICIAL place for RL discussion. Alan no longer has a role within the club and as such he is not bound by collective responsibility or required to tow the party line. Nor are the vast majority of posters on here for that matter.

Challenge Cup final or preseason friendly, we should all be free to express our views on the game providing it does not break the rules set down by RLFANS.COM. If that has changed and we are now bound by the thought police this will probably be my last post on here.

I seem to remember that several members of the thought police were critical of England RL and the RLWC, despite it being the biggest opportunity for the sport this side of the millennium. Why did no threads disappear then?

There was no mention of the IRA on the sheet - they just made it into a crap song along with some other crap songs on there!

Perhaps someone from the club clique should vet all future threads and posts to see if they meet with the clubs approval! Save us the time of holding these discussions!

With respect, I most certainly would have raised the question - probably in a 'Communications' Meeting. However, I am no longer a member of that forum and have raised the question in the public domain, because it is an issue that concerns me. If you read my posts, you will still see that I praise the club, when praise is due, but I am entitled to criticise, when I feel like it.

It is a simple and straightforward question, that I ask - or are we only allowed to ask questions that lavish praise upon the people who make the decisions?

By the way, the reason that I ask it, in the week of a 'massive' game, is that it surely is an issue that affects that game.

As for people in 'official roles' (or former 'official roles') making comments on here, there appear to be at least two members of the BOM also making comments, criticising individuals for expressing an opinion.

It would appear that it is ok for members of the BOM to post critical opinions, but not ordinary, concerned supporters.

There was nothing wrong with the original thread and in hindsight it should have just been the post s referring to the flute sing that went .
However it was right I think as the majority of posters asked for the thread to go , in fact no one asked for it to stay
