| whoops almost forgot.
Keith confirmed that we are running at 33% of salary cap, which is well below the 40% threshhold. So no chance of us going over this season.

| Although i was at the FF tonight can i say thanks to TC&W for that exellent run through.
I missed the bit about wigan taking youngsters from us and helping us to develope them,as long as theres no ulterior motives then a massive round of applause goes to them .

When you've said in the past John about us ending up being a feeder club for Wigan, you were on the right lines but in completely the wrong direction!

Yes, it's being filled by Mark Taylor who is a RL journalist and son of Frank Taylor who is the club kitman.

| Thanks for the updates TC&W, was working so couldn't attend or tune in on LeighLife. All sounds very promising and professional. Especially pleased with the figures of 1800 attendance break even, 2000 attendance small profit! I know that sounds sad but with the horrible last 6 months or so the club has had it's nice to know we are looking stable financially. Congrats to Keith Freer, Trevor Barton, Paul Rowley and anyone and everyone who has helped drag us back from the brink to where we are now, buzzing with high hopes for 2012!!!

| Let's try and reward he club by averaging over the 2.400, and help pay off the debt.
A Target of 3k should be set by the fans as something they can do to help.
Imagine next year the club actually posting a profit, what a shot in the arm that would be!

| The software being used is called SPOPRTSTECH GAMEBREAKER, I first saw it about 10 years ago when Paul Terzis was after an analysis package and i identified to him that it seemed the best around at the time but the hardware required for its use (and the software) it was prohibitively expensive and he went for a different package which no one could use. For the last few years we have been using SPORTSPERFORMER which will still be used by Paul Rowley for his own analysis of certain players etc.. the club also use LONGOMATCH which is a free application which I recommend for any budding coaches out there and in fact was the software we were using last year so Basil could highlight various video clips to the players at half (and full time) time.
See the SKY team giving us good 'wraps' on the NRC Final coverage. for using it.

| Excellent news, well done to all working so hard.
The amount of Adult ST's sold is both a negative and a positive. The positive being that weekly income will be on the increase, the negative is that crowds may suffer. A concern is that adults have bought concession ST's so I hope this is policed at the gates. Also the fact that it costs nothing more to buy your season ticket as the season starts may result in a late rush when folk are paid at the end of January.
I also expect shirt sales to grow when folk who don't go up Leigh to shop see them in the flesh at the weekend at the ground.
Looking forward to a great season ahead.

| Quote: THECherry&Whites "Trevor Barton up next-
Season tickets sales so far;
78 adult season tickets
149 concessions
290 juniors
67 touchdown club memberships
231 shirts sold
Meeting with RFL went very well. Possitive reaction to the player performance programme we have in place. They want to meet with us on a regular basis to discuss this.
The match day experience is being made better. Trevor acknowledges that the LSV are now listen to the club re; prices etc. They are welcoming as many new ideas as possible from the fans to improve the match day experience.
Lynda and Lisa thanked by Trevor for all their help in the financial crisis.
Frank Taylor acknowledged for all his hard work at the club.
Jitterbugs thanked for helping the club sell the replicas.
Photo shoot last Saturday with everyone in the club on it. To be sold soon.
Trevor needs a wee so they are taking a break.................'"
You did incredibly well to keep up with all that, whilst listening in! I think you have the s/t sales too high though. Up to last week, we'd sold 28 High School Junior s/t's, and we also have 23 junior s/t's so we I don't think we have sold 290 now! (unfortunately) In fact S/T sales are well down on last year (I think KF said 600 in total last year)
Nevertheless, the hope is that people pay through the turnstile instead.

What is interesting is that the INCOME from those reduced sales is at least the equivalent of the 600 last year !!!!

The problem is you will lose a lot of pay on the day support if the weather is bad.

Can't speak for anyone else, but I'll be buying two West Stand season tickets probably the week before the start of the season. No point paying out and stretching the cash when I can get another payday in between.

Which is where the pre-purchase discount comes in handy as then fans have an incentive to commit to coming to the game.
The issue of the income from the season tickets is a very interesting one and certainly justifies the price increase IMO.
