Most of those - the voters couldn't give a rats ass about. It's their wallet which will swing them from one party to another and most people's are empty at the moment.

| I think their greatest achievement is being in power during the longest and most succesful economic boom period in living memory, and then not having a pot to p1ss in the day it finished.
It takes some doing does that.

I was going to put something simillar but you did it very well.
I'll give it 12 months if the Toerags get in before it dawns on all the red top voters that their health sevice and education system has been wrecked by those bunch of lying, thieving, cheating plebs.

Not forgetting taking the 10p tax rate off the lowest paid workers and whacking up their National Insurance.

| The minimum wage makes people who get it better off than they would have been otherwise.
I,m retired so I don,t benefit but do I resent it,s introduction ? Well no I don,t I,m very pleased it was brought in and I applaud the present government for its introduction.

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity
Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike
SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!:9005.jpg |

| And MIRAS.......
They got shut of that too.
You know, for ordinary working home owning folk.....
And married persons allowance.......
For every Minimum Wage, there a fistful of stealth taxes that claw it back from the ordinary man and woman.

How can you blame any party on a world wide recession? One of the reasons that this country is probably in more of a mess than some others is that is a hub if not the major hub for the financial world. It has had to be this way because the toerags - the last time they were in - vertually got rid of all our manufacturing industries and anything that we produced was put to one side in favour of global trade. Thanx Maggie. I do wish people would have a few days off watching the rubbish on the news, radio and the utter crap in the news papers and open their eyes. The only thing I have against any Labour government is that they seem to make everything harder with their bureaucracy.

| Don't matter who is in power - its a losing battle trying to get re-elected when so many companies every week are going under and people losing their jobs. More people benefitted than not with this government (myself included) in charge and took all the cream, but now the world as gone pop.......
Still don't stop certain employees going on strike at every opportunity though - lets bring the trade unions into it....
