What I do like about this team that Paul has put together is they look after each other as well as themselves they won't be bullied on the field and that showed today. It sends a clear message out to other teams you start it and we will finish it.

I rate Sam Barlow highly and thank him for saluting the Leythers in the South stand at the end of the game.

He had a suit on and a rucksack on his back. Hope it doesn't mean anything but it had me worried.

I agree Pitman at for me definatly.
But for me stand out player was Bob Beswick, he led from the front in both attack and especially defense.
When we were 24 - 0 down he was sent on and we scored, everyone played well 2nd half and we destroyed them, we take bob off and they score. spot the trend..

As for Sam I'd sooner have him with us than against us, and the comparison with Timmy Street can't be done at this stage after all Sam is still only 23/24 and at what age did Timmy 'settle down' more like 29/30.
Poor guy had been sledged all week by certain ex colleagues and then had to put up with it in the game, yes he probably gave as much as he got but he is only human and still a young guy.

I heard they'd been ringing him all week giving it him, well he had the last laugh as his try started our comeback and we never looked back after he scored it.
Hope he gets the one match ban, but learns to not let people wind him up !

I used Tim Street to highlight someone who was on a short fuse, not to compare as their playing strengths. Some of our fans are quick to jump on the back of someone who's got a bit of a mongrel streak... I'm glad he's in our squad.

Agree with that. I'm definitely a fan of Sam, but I also thought it was good he made the effort to come over to the fans in his suit after the game and then got on FB later to apologise for the sending off.

Was also great to see how the team came together and dug in for each other after the scrap in the first half and then the sending off. Hopefully the bugs in the camp and the mini-slump of the last few games are over and the dominant Leigh we saw in the 2nd half will stick around - if we can keep that going the upcoming games with Fev will really be ones to look forward to.
