Exactly Frank it totally ruined it. The atmosphere before that happened was something I have never experienced. It was fantastic. From James to the kick off was the best I have ever seen and do you know what, Wigan were by far the best team for me. Shaun Wayne and Ben Flower should spend the next week in the stocks.

Well he won't despite what he did. Daft beggar lost his head in a moment of madness and he will have suffered already as a consequence of his actions.

He will get 4 games imo and should be made to pay me back my ticket money for ruining what could have been a good game.

I personally don't think it will harm our game one bit and as the say "you can't really get bad press". I think he will get an even ten game ban. I also think he realised what he was doing just before he landed the second punch. Had he punch him twice while on the floor you could wave him bye -bye forever.
Do you think it was worse than Eric Cantona's flying kick? No, not by a country mile. A very, very stupid thing to do which no doubt will tighten the rules on the biff for next year. Me thinks we will see a good few red cards at the start of next season. even for a push. What I really would hate to happen is the RFL go overboard and give the Ref's a mandate to send players off just for raising their hands, like in fuzzball.
