We had a thread on this a few weeks ago as to wether the game should be brought forward or not.
Personally speaking i'd have been happy if it had as that would given me a full day of sport

Sets a dangerous precedent though John as where do you draw the line? People will make their choice, although anyone who is missing the Leigh game to go to the pub to watch the Liverpool game is a bit of an odd one to me (I will say fair enough if they're going to Wembley).

Possibly Matt,but as Alan alluded to in an earlier post,with ST sales being down and if the whether is bad it could quite easily put off more than just Liverpool fans from coming to the game.
On another note was there not a bit of a surge for ST and/or TDC sales before the season kicked off? |

Ah, but I was suggesting that the downturn in S/T's HADN'T harmed our crowd, based on one match - but it's early days yet, I suppose. And yes, I believe there was a mini-surge in S/T's before the season started. |
