Drop the nonsense, big Dave would revitalise any Championship club (assumed) so long as he was injury-free. If you are still in the Championship who is the Aussie you will sign, SL is already scraping the barrel.

About 4 short of a squad. Assume focus on forwards. Should we have kept a couple more from last year? Any rumours who we are chasing? More overseas signings? Would be nice to have a couple more announcements to drive Season Ticket sales. Second favourites to Feath at moment who are a bit further on with recruitment.

Totally agree Leyther14, having watched the videos on the web site It was encouraging to hear of imminent quality signings, but all has gone quiet again and with the season weeks away unless these signings arrive very soon they are not going to benefit from a full pre-season. Any rumours Monty or Harold?

It would be helpful for season ticket sales if we could be given an update., Personally I believe the secrecy counterproductive.

I think we all agree we need around 4 or 5 more signings ,and I’m sure Derek ,Lammy ,and Chester feel the same .
For all we know we may have signed these players and are just waiting for the right time , which may mean they are already training with us .

I would be happier a couple of forwards in. But pace as always shown a winner in Champ. Add as they go for me.

I'm thinking 6 or 7 needed personally. How many do we have signed now 18/19 & some of those young lads who might be fringe players. So we have 18/19 now, add 4/5 & we're only looking at 22 - 25 maximum. We have seen before what happens when we have 5 or 6 players out injured, scratching around to make a team with many out of position. I would have thought 27/28 would be a minimum. Super League clubs run 28 - 32, if we have ambition then we need to be close to that.

Hard to disagree with that but I wonder if they will wait to the business end to make a couple of key additions to get it to the 6-7.
I’m not saying they should but maybe there just are not 6-7 available of the quality we want/need right now.
Personally I trust that we have the owner, head of rugby and head coach to win this and make the team what we need to do it. I would be a little happier if we had a full squad, but would it be a good enough squad if we did right now ?

Yeah the coming together as a team is the big issue when you go up and down between divisions as we well know! The first challenge for our new coaches.
