Wellens is comparing apples and pears. Knowles got pinged for a hip drop tackle (like Nisbet) Asiata was cleared of tackling round the legs (launching himself head first at the legs).

This is bringing the game into disrepute - he is basically saying the disciplinary panel are wrong

As I have said previously, Jon Wilkin is too biased to be a pundit. He has been the one who started all this off and now Asiata is receiving death threats. Totally unacceptable. As Richard Silverwood has said, Saints forget some of there players technique. They have had players either sin binned or sent off in a good few games this season.

Yes he works for both SkY and the Beeb as, for a retired RL player, he is relatively telegenic. His bias towards Saints (despite him pathetically protesting otherwise) is acceptable for the first-named broadcaster which is a "shock jock" tabloid of a channel, but the BBC has a mandate of neutrality and therefore he should never be allowed to appear on there again.
